Taste : 4 /5 - Good Taste
Value for Money : 4.5/5 - We paid RM15 for all that!!
Ambience : 3/5 - Not bad for an open air area with roofing.. Fan also blowing into our face
Service : 3/5 - a bit slow in responding
Parking : 5/5 No cars at all..the road was empty.. puasa month lah

Lunch Menu Today

what did i have for lunch? hmmm...i had kam heong chicken yet again but this time it's at a chinese restaurant in paramount. Not too bad but Madam lims still wins the trophy, ha ha

What PaulOS did for lunch today..

I was about to leave the office after posting a comment on Ariel's previous blog, then I heard a small commotion & familiar voice coming from the reception area. It was my ex-colleague (NZ)who dropped by for a visit..

She and 3 other colleagues were excited about something in a plastic bag.. and to my great surprise.. NZ's started a business selling frozen chicken chop pieces, all pre-marinated also with some other sauces, like black-pepper etc.. I've offered to start her a blog to promote her business.. :)

So anyways after chit chatting, for a while, I went to do some quick shopping for odds-n-ends at the SS2 warehouse, for knife, basin etc in preparation for T.H.E Carnival at my church..

Then I grabbed a quick lunch to go (take away) from Sri Gengga in SS2. Indian food for lunch.. Was quite ok, rice, potatoes, chicken and cucumbers... a bit pricey tho. RM6/=

Parking : 4/5 (probably because it's the fasting month that I got a parking spot right in front of the shop but had to wait for a minute or so.. caused a 30 metre backlog waiting for the red proton to get out of that spot)

The Puasa Month

Usually, I would grab some grub to eat from the Malay food stall next door. Or the one located at the back of my office.

But since it's now the Puasa (fasting) month of Ramaddan for Muslims in Malaysia, those food stalls are closed.

I think I'll just eat bread for lunch today lar.

I wonder what my lunch partners are having today though...

Due to immense hunger pangs, my colleagues and I decided to go somewhere to have nice grub to eat. Bah to bread :P Here's where we ended up:

Good to the last strand! Actually, was a tad too dry. But ok lar. I'll give it a 3/5 rating.

How Lunchpartners was formed?

Moni & I were colleagues for less than a year..
Ariel & I have been friends for about 5 years now..

So during the past year, Moni & I and some colleagues used to go out for lunch together, and we invited Ariel along from time to time, then there was this one week where, Moni, Ariel and I met up by sheer coincidence for about 3 times that week, and thus the bond was formed. Moni & Ariel hit it off well, I believe.. and after today's lunch at Madam Lim's, Lunch partners was formed..

So dis blog is about food and the after effects of food and the repercussions of it too.. :D

My Diet Plan

Of late, I have been on a diet program.. quite simple and am still trying to eat moderately

So what's a diet entry doing in a blog about food? Well, it has all got things to do with it.. enjoying the food but in moderate amounts..

My rule for now is..
1. No Seconds (servings)
2. Less carbo for dinner (half rice or complex carbos for dinner - like chapatis)
3. No snacking
4. Exercise regularly
5. No suppers
6. Less Sugar
7. Less fast food (at least no fries and soft drinks).. Mc D's foldovers seem healthy

So far it's working.. So I hope my lunch partners make sure I eat well too :D

How do you create a name for a blog about breakfast/lunch/dinner escapades?

So far Lunch is Fun is probably for starters.. or is it final?

This Shall Be Our After-Lunch Haunt

Paulos, MoniG and I have become quite regular lunch partners. Ok, sporadically regular lunch partners :)

After a hearty lunch at Madame Lim's today, we decided upon a brilliant idea - to start a blog document what we have for lunch - on an almost-daily basis.

Call it gluttony or being just plain crazy, but we think there are people out there who might be actually interested in what goes into our tummies for lunch.

So sit back, relax and let us do all the yakking, photo snapping and of course, chomping down our foodies. Hey, we are Malaysians :)
